The Route
The HightrailRun is designed for both recreational and professional trail runners who want to challenge themselves on the scenic Gilfert loop. This unique course runs over one of Tyrol’s most beautiful lookout mountains – especially the section from Loassattel to Gilfert, which is a highlight for every runner.
The Gilfert loop covers 17.7 km with 1,250 meters of elevation gain, making it a demanding route. The highlight is the section from Loassattel to Gilfert. There are 2 refreshment stations at km 5.8 and 13 offering water, sports drinks, cola, and bananas.
