Cycle route surveys and user surveys

HOST has provided IGS Ingenieurgesellschaft Stoz mbH – Büro Radschlag with survey and interview personnel for cycling analyses since 2020.

Projects successfully carried out so far:

Data collection (cycle path condition and its adjacent infrastructure) of the cycling network by bike:

  • 1,500 km in West Mecklenburg Western Pomerania with 42 ridden km daily average in 36 recording days in the period August to September 2020
  • Additional individual surveys in the cities:
    • Wismar 54 km
    • Grevesmühlen 33 km
    • Hagenow 46 km
    • Ludwigslust 59 km
    • Parchim 61 km

450 km in the Mecklenburg Lake District with a daily average of 35 km driven in 13 recording days in the period November 2020 to February 2021.
